Abstract

The Algorithm of forming the Ecological network of the local level with the use of the software QGIS is presents. The Methods of forming the Ecological network by V. P. Kolomiichuk, V. P. Vorovka, B. O. Demchenko and the principles of building the ecological network by G. I. Denysyk are taken as a basis for the algorithm. As the result of this research we have formed the ecological network of the local level of Dnipropetrovsk region (Pokrovsky and Mezhyvsky district and determined its main structural elements (key, connective and renew territories). We have determined the part of buffered territories for the tributaries of the rivers Vovcha (Gaichur and Yanchur) to visualize their places and functions in the general scheme of ecological network. We have determined the relation of squares of the main structure elements of the ecological networks and its correlation to the main principles of the territory structure. The results of the research were used during the performance of the project of the development of the scheme of the ecological network of Dnipropetrovsk region (it was performed in 2016 on a by-order basis of the Department of the Environment protection of the Dnipropetrovsk region administration). The above-presented Algorithm of building a local ecological network with the use of the software QGIS can be used for the formation of the ecological networks of the same level on the territory of Dnipropetrovsk region and the territories of other regions of the steppe zones of Ukraine, taking into account their individual peculiarities.
