Plagiarism before publication

The share of plagiarism is calculated by the software and is also evaluated separately by the editorial board.

Plagiarism after publication

Plagiarized pages are accordingly indicated in the pdf file on the journal site. Depending on the extent of plagiarism, the document may be removed from the journal's website by decision of the editorial board.

 Recommendations for avoiding plagiarism

Use quotation marks for words taken literally from the Ukrainian source.

  • Do not change the quotation in the context of the sentence.
  • Use separate characters for quotation in quotation.
  • Use three dots (space and three dots) for the omitted quote section.
  • Use parentheses to add your own words.
  • Limit the use of direct quotes.

Try to paraphrase or summarize information from different sources using your own words.

Authors are responsible for obtaining copyright permission to reproduce illustrations, tables, figures taken from other authors and / or sources. The permit must be placed at the bottom below each element.

Auto-plagiarism
Some authors may write multiple sections for several different books that are only slightly modified. Each manuscript is copyrighted after its publication. Since the author no longer owns the rights to these sections, they should not be repeated. Most editors and reviewers argue that auto-plagiarism is unethical. Therefore, an author cannot copy their own material for a new manuscript without the permission of the copyright owner. The exception may be to quote short phrases of the author from his own work, indicating the relevant links.
